Sound Update
List of sounds I recorded:
Keys, Door Opening, Locked Door, Lava, Death Sound (Recorded in my room)
CheckPoint, Falling/Resetting Platform (Made in BFXR)
Other sounds:
Crickets (found online)
Moving Platform (Default on UE)
I wanted the character to sound nervous and impatient. Hence the frantic door rattling and cautious creak of the locked and opening door sounds. I wanted the jingling keys to sound satisfying. I wanted the death sound to be comedic. I wanted the lava to sound more realistic, so I blew bubbles in a glass of water and lowered the pitch.
For the checkpoint, I wanted something immediately recognizable. The platforms I wanted to sound Corpo-SiFi.
I find the sound of crickets to be soothing, so I placed some in the corner.
